Prayer Intentions
We pray for Pope Francis and the Australian church leaders, that guided by the Holy Spirit, they may share the gospel and bring unity and peace to Australia, Oceania, and beyond.
We pray for healing in families. May the Holy Spirit inspire spouses to keep marriages sacred and help mankind recognise the vital role of mothers and fathers.
We pray for the young people in Australia to embrace Christ through personal encounters, answering their missionary call with a desire to be set apart.
We pray for world leaders to be led by the Holy Spirit, striving for peace, harmony, wisdom, and conflict resolution.
We pray for all the initiatives of JY Australia, especially the missions in Oceania and the Yes Lord National Conference 2024.
“Hours of grace got my every encouragement. it is a wonderful way of bringing down blessings upon our parishes, our diocese and church of Australia, particularly during our Plenary Council discussions and also thinking about families and the great importance of evangelization of the youth culture”
-Most Rev. Christopher Prowse (Archbishop of Canberra – Goulburn)
“The Hours of Grace initiative of Jesus Youth Australia, provides our catholic people with the opportunity to spend precious time with the lord in adoration. Time is easily filled with many activities, some of which can distract us from the need to deepen our relationship with Jesus Christ. We all need that special time of stillness and communication with God. As we move towards the plenary council in 2020, the provision of time for Eucharistic Adoration will deepen our listening to what spirit is saying to the Church. Let the hours of grace become a blessing in our lives”
-Most Rev. Donald Sproxton ( Auxiliary Bishop of Archdiocese of Perth)
